We have furnished our Studioappartement Königsacker with great attention to detail in a country-vintage style, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. High-quality cement tiles in the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom, along with dark real wood floorboards in the living areas, create an elegant contrast to the white wooden furniture. After an eventful day, the large, super-comfortable leather couch with cozy pillows invites you to a relaxing evening of TV.

This rural idyll naturally includes the typical sounds of nature—from birds chirping and animals in the neighborhood to the occasional hum of a tractor in the surrounding fields. As is common here in the border region to Denmark, we address each other informally—because when you stay with us, you’re staying with friends!

After 10 successful years as photographers in Berlin, we settled here in the North in 2017. Today, we specialize entirely in wedding photography and bridal styling —throughout the southern part of Denmark (and northern Germany), between the North Sea and the Baltic Sea – especially in nearby Tønder (Denmark) . Tønder is world-famous for its uncomplicated weddings, and many couples travel from afar to say "I do" there. Our studio apartment is the ideal "wedding base" for your adventure. We’ll handle the bride’s styling in the morning at your vacation rental and accompany you as photographers during the wedding ceremony in Tondern, capturing your happiness in the town’s romantic little alleys. Whether it’s a quick photo session with the bride and groom or several hours of coverage: Contact us well in advance so we can reserve a date for you!

Neighbourhood
Our vacation rental is located in Königsacker, a rural hamlet in the heart of the countryside, about 2.2 miles (3.5 km) from Ladelund. Königsacker stretches over about half a mile, yet you’ll find only 12 houses scattered along the way. Framed by meadows, fields, and the vastness of the sky, the apartment is situated in a house dating back to 1927, with only one direct neighbor across the "Heerweg." The Heerweg is a small road leading off the main county road, featuring just four houses in loose succession before it turns into a field path. The property is bordered by trees.
When you set out for a stroll along the Heerweg, you’ll mostly encounter horses, neighborhood dogs, and a few chickens. If you happen to meet the neighbors, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the North Frisian way of life. Everyone here is greeted with friendliness, openness, and a hint of curiosity. Once you pass the last house on the Heerweg, nothing lies before you but miles of meadows and fields. Depending on the time of day, the sky shifts from deep blue to vibrant red. A fantastic array of clouds drifts by, almost touching the ground in the distance. It’s a true spectacle! In this seclusion, you can truly find yourself and become one with nature.
